Psychological Insight for Complex Organizational Systems

ADHD Coaching: Navigating Neurodiversity

ADHD is not merely a "deficit" of attention; it is a fundamental difference in how the nervous system processes information, regulates emotion, and engages with the environment. Within the framework of The Transitional Space, ADHD Coaching is approached not as a fix for a "broken" system, but as a collaborative process of reclaiming agencyover one’s executive functions.

My approach to ADHD Coaching is uniquely informed by Neuro-Affective principles and Systems Theory. We move beyond generic productivity hacks to explore the specific "architecture" of your mind. We address the chronic shame that often accompanies neurodivergence—what many call the "ADHD burnout"—by deconstructing the internalized expectation to perform within neurotypical standards.

In our ADHD Coaching sessions, we focus on:

  • Executive Functioning Support: Developing bespoke strategies for emotional regulation, cognitive flexibility, and time perception.

  • Breaking the Shame Cycle: Identifying the "survival strategies" you’ve developed to mask your ADHD and moving toward a more authentic, self-compassionate way of living.

  • Environmental Design: Analyzing your personal and professional systems to create environments that support, rather than deplete, your cognitive energy.

  • Intersectionality & ADHD: Understanding how gender roles, cultural background, and societal pressures uniquely impact the experience of neurodivergence.

Whether you are seeking support after a late-in-life diagnosis or looking to refine your existing coping mechanisms, our work aims to bridge the gap between your potential and your daily lived experience.
