Group analysis offers a unique and powerful therapeutic experience, based on the understanding that human beings are inherently social and that many of our deepest struggles—and our greatest potential for growth—are rooted in our relationships with others. In my practice, I facilitate a therapeutic environment where the group becomes a "microcosm" of your outer world. Through the process of group interaction, we explore the conscious and unconscious dynamics that shape how you relate, belong, and find your voice within a collective.
Drawing from Group Analytic and Relational principles, the group functions as a "dynamic matrix"—a safe and confidential space where patterns of relating that often remain hidden in daily life can be observed and understood in real-time. We focus on the intersubjective experiences that emerge between members, identifying the enactments and shared resonances that occur within the group. By fostering a "mindful and curious" atmosphere, I assist members in exploring their internal objects and attachment styles as they play out in the group’s "here-and-now."
The goal of group psychotherapy is to facilitate a journey from isolation to authentic connection. As members share their narratives and provide mutual feedback, the group provides a "holding environment" that supports the integration of fragmented aspects of the self. This collaborative process allows you to gain profound insights into your relational world, dismantling defensive survival strategies and fostering psychological agency. Whether you are navigating social anxiety, relationship difficulties, or a search for deeper meaning, group analysis provides a transformative space to develop a more integrated sense of self and a richer capacity for intimacy and belonging.
