The Transitional Space

Practical Information About Our Clinical Services
Frequently Asked Questions About Care and Treatment
If you feel "stuck" in repetitive patterns, struggle with the echoes of past experiences, or feel a disconnect from your authentic self, therapy can provide the space you need. It is suitable for anyone ready to explore their internal world and move from a state of "survival" to one of genuine agency. You don’t need a crisis to start; a simple desire for deeper self-understanding and a wish to make a change in your life is enough.
Not at all. Twenty-first-century therapy is for everyone. While I treat clinical conditions, many people seek therapy for life transitions, relationship dynamics, or personal growth. People come for all sorts of reasons, and there is no "minimum" requirement of distress to justify seeking support.
Friendship is based on mutual exchange, but therapy is a unilateral clinical intervention. As a professional, I provide a "holding environment"—a specialized, boundary-protected space where your experiences are analyzed through the lenses of developmental psychology and systems theory. I am trained to identify transference and enactments—relational patterns you might unknowingly repeat—offering a "metabolic" processing of emotions that a social circle cannot provide.
Therapy works by making the unconscious conscious and providing a corrective relational experience. My approach is integrative, working on two levels:
• The Neuro-Affective: Using models like NARM, we help your nervous system move from "survival mode" to a state of co-regulation and safety.
• The Psychodynamic: We look behind the symptoms to find the original "survival strategies" and Internal Working Models that no longer serve you, allowing for the integration of fragmented parts of the self and the restoration of your psychological agency.
Yes, you are welcome to discuss your interest in a specific approach. My expertise spans several evidence-based models, including Relational Psychoanalysis, Systems Theory, Schema Therapy, EMDR, CRM, NARM, Ego State Therapy, and Compassionate Inquiry. While many clients seek me out for a particular method, I typically work integratively, tailoring these clinical lenses to your unique needs and systemic goals.
All sessions—whether individual, couple, or family—last 50 minutes. Consistency is vital for creating a "safe container," so sessions typically occur once a week at a recurring time. Services are provided fluently in both Greek and English.
Yes. I provide secure, encrypted online psychotherapy for those who cannot attend in person. I ensure that the "digital holding environment" remains as focused, confidential, and safe as an in-office session.
Psychotherapy and psychiatry often work hand-in-hand. While I do not prescribe medication, I maintain professional collaborations with trusted psychiatrists and medical specialists. If it becomes clear that a psychiatric evaluation or pharmacological support would benefit your progress, I will discuss this with you transparently and provide the necessary referrals within my professional network.
Because your session time is exclusively reserved for you, a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged at the full fee. This policy ensures the stability of the clinical process and honors the commitment to our therapeutic work.
For your convenience, I accept various payment methods, including Bank Transfer, Revolut, and PayPal. Invoices are provided for all services, ensuring professional accountability and transparency.
Confidentiality is the absolute bedrock of the therapeutic relationship. Everything discussed in our sessions is strictly confidential, governed by the ethical frameworks and deontology of my accrediting bodies. Any legal or ethical exceptions to this (such as risk of harm) will be discussed thoroughly during our first meeting.
The most transformative work happens when you bring a spirit of curiosity and a willingness to be authentic. By being open about your feelings—even the difficult ones regarding the therapy itself—we can work through real-time dynamics, helping you reclaim your voice and live a more integrated, meaningful life.
